Welcome to BlueSky!

Welcome to the very first “help post” for your adventure into BlueSky-dom. Unlike the other place most of us are “escaping” (or migrating) from, BlueSky offers quite a bit more control and flexibility with your entire social media experience.

I won’t bore you to death with the back story (that’s easily findable) or how it’ll be funded going forward (you can read about that HERE, FYI). Instead, I want to share some thoughts and suggestions (between this and other posts within this section) to help make your transition easier to manage, and for you to connect with others that have come over, as well.

I will have a separate post regarding the “Find your friends” step, a separate one for the recommended block lists (along with caveats) and one for “Use alt text”, as well.

Thanks for reading, and welcome to BlueSky!
