Facebook will censor the link, however, this is what I use to keep “promoted” items to a minimum, and to see the timeline I want to see (note: You have to follow pages/people/groups if you want to have your own controllable (including sort order (newest to oldest)) news feed.
I installed this extension on both FireFox and Chrome prior to the 2020 election… and it saved my sanity. It still does, honestly.
Occasionally, a promoted post will come up, and you might occasionally miss a post for a feed you follow, however, the person managing this extension does a really good job of staying on top of things.
(BTW, no, I don’t get paid for showing FBPurity love… it’s just that awesome of an extension.)
